Anita Raja
Responsibilities
The Outreach Chair coordinates corporate and faculty presentations and workshops to be conducted throughout the year. The chair is responsible for managing leadership and career events as well as aiding the Expo Chair in directing companies interested in hosting information sessions to SEC Member Engineering Organizations.

Background
Anita is from Singapore and came to Virginia Tech to pursue her passion for aerospace engineering. Academically, Anita is interested in propulsion systems, with a particular focus on high-speed propulsion system design and optimization. She is actively involved in research in this area, working on advancing innovative propulsion technologies. She is also a member of the College of Engineering Dean’s Team, where she helps recruit prospective undergraduate students. Outside of class, she enjoys cooking and traveling to new places.
