Erin Chaney
Responsibilities
The Director of Relations is responsible for all external communications and branding of the SEC. This includes facilitating relations between the engineering student body, university engineering administration, and industry partners. The DOR also acts as a liaison between the executive board and the engineering student body, informing the community about all SEC opportunities.

Background
Erin is from Hampstead, Maryland, and came to Virginia Tech to pursue a bachelor's degree in biological systems engineering with a focus on biotechnology. She is minoring in biomedical engineering and is interested in undergraduate research. Currently, Erin is the Treasurer for the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and a BSE Ambassador. Outside of academics, she enjoys swimming, reading, baking, and traveling.
