Responsibilities
The Director of Operations is responsible for managing all internal procedures and functions of the SEC. They maintain records of all SEC board meetings and general assembly meetings as well as keeping accurate copies of the SEC's Constitution and Bylaws. The Director of Operations is also expected to act in place of the President in their absence.

Background
Forrest Meng is from Fairfax Virginia, and is a student in the third cohort of the Calhoun Honors Discovery Program. He has an interest in integrating technology into human applications, from haptics to cobotics. Forrest is currently a member of the BOLT Electric Motorcycle controls team and Haptic Tactics, a CHDP student research team focusing on advancing aerospace manufacturing processes with mixed reality. Outside of engineering, Forrest is the secretary for Art Club at Virginia Tech, and enjoys going to the gym, photography, drawing, playing games, and various types of music.
