Dear VT Engineering Students,

My name is Ryan Gniadek, and I am a rising Senior studying Computer Science. These last three years have been the most fulfilling period of my life and I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve the student body as SEC President next year. The past year for SEC was not only defined by our return to in-person modality but also as a time of remarkable growth and transformation as we dramatically expanded our organization’s footprint on campus.
Next year, I hope to scale our organization to adequately serve our newfound footprint on campus while also continuing to take on new initiatives supporting engineering students. The Student Engineers' Council (SEC) is a student-led 501c3 organization that is devoted to serving our 9,000+ students and 80+ engineering student organizations through $280k+ in annual giving and 300+ corporate partners. There are numerous oppurtunities to get involved with SEC whether it be attending the Engineering Expo, competing in our Engineers' Week competition, or attending the Engineers' Ball.
Make sure to check your @vt.edu email so you do not miss out on oppurtunities to get involved!
