Unfortunately, freshmen engineering students are not eligible to attend the Engineers' Ball. However, there will be a supplmentary freshman dance hosted by the SEC Freshman Leadership Board. Please contact Supriya Kanaparti, firstname.lastname@example.org, for more details.
Each ticket admits only one person (so no, your ticket does not include a guest). However, each eligible student is given the option to purchase 1 additional ticket for a guest. +1 guest tickets are not restricted by year or college (must be 18+ or a VT student).
If you are an sophomore, junior, or senior level student you will recieve an email at the begining of the Spring semester with a link to purchase your ticket.
You must be registered on the SEC listserv to recieve this email. Please click here to join if you do not already recieve our emails.
Ticket sales are first come, first serve and we expect them to sell out quickly. Once you have purchased your ticket, you will be added to the guest list. Please arrive to the German Club Manor, starting at 6:45pm with a valid photo I.D. We will have SEC members checking you in at the door!
Yes! Freshmen are welcome to compete in the Engineers' Week competition. If your team places 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, you will be given 4 complementary E-Ball tickets, even if you are a freshman engineering student.
Refunds will not be given except in specific circumstances. Engineers' Ball is an off-campus event at the German Club Manor. The SEC will follow all local, state, and federal ordinance in determining the procedures at the event. In the event that we cannot host this ball, full refunds will be issued.
Engineering students will receive the ticket email, they may purchase a ticket for themselves and up to one plus one.
