Responsibilities

The SEC Vice President serves as a resource to the rest of the executive board  and all Committees Chairs to ensure that the committees are fulfilling their purpose and responsibilities. The VP also acts in place of the President when they are unavailable or in their absence.

Background

Vitha Anumolu is from Northern Virginia and came to Virginia Tech as an Industrial and Systems Engineering student with interests in software engineering and entrepreneurship. Beyond serving on the SEC Executive Board over the past three years, Vitha is involved at the university as an undergraduate researcher working with virtual reality and the usability of immersive spaces, a department student ambassador, an undergraduate teaching assistant for the computer science department, and a student leader in various engineering organizations. She has worked in the industry as a software engineer and developer, as well as a technical business analyst. Outside of her professional life, Vitha likes to take on social reform initiatives, play basketball, and make the most of her time at Virginia Tech!
