First Year Orientation Assignment
Complete the steps below before your move-in to campus this August!
Step 1: Create a Resume
Everyone needs a resume to showcase their skills. A resume is a great first step to showing recruiters what you've got. When you register for Expo in the next step, you wil upload this resume.
If you already have a resume, great! Review the checklist and proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Learn about the Engineering Expo Career Fair
Expo is a marquee event for the VT College of Engineering and SEC. It is an opportunity for students of all majors and years to meet recruiters, interview, and secure jobs / internships.
The 2023 Virginia Tech Engineering Expo will be taking place September 12th-14th, 2023 in Squires Commonwealth Ballroom.

Get Involved — SEC Committees
The Student Engineers' Council (SEC) has numerous opportunities in which to get involved with student leadership in the Virginia Tech College of Engineering. Committees are an entry point to getting directly involved with the SEC and student leadership.
