Frequently Asked Questions

The 2024 Engineering Expo will be September 10-12th, 2024 from 10am-4pm  in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The 2024 Engineering Expo will be fully in person and open for three days.

Regstration will continue until the event is sold out.

We will be using Swapcard both as our Expo app and website. This will display company profiles for students to see and companies can edit these themselves. Levels of access to Swapcard will be based on sponsorship tier. 

We provide shuttles from Chicken Hill Lot. You will be required to get yourself to this parking lot and you are able to leave your car there for the day. 

Companies can begin setting up at 8am each day they are attending the career fair.

Because we are using the same software for purchasing booths at Expo, your previous login may carry over from last year. However, if it did not, please make a new account. This will not affect your company registration.

We are using a different event software this year, Swapcard, and you will be given login instructions within one week of registration. For this, you will need to create a new account. Please call or email us or swapcard with issues creating your new account. 

Yes, breakfast and lunch will be provided each in-person day. We will also have a welcome reception on the first night where dinner and drinks will be provided.

Yes, there will be a welcome reception. Dinner and drinks will be provided as well as a showcase provided by Virginia Tech's competitive design teams. Stay tuned for more info!

As of 4/21/2022, masks will not be required. We will continue to work closely with the university and will update this as policies change.
