About

What is Engineers' Ball (E-Ball)?
SEC Engineers' Ball (E-Ball) is an annual event that celebrates the hard work and dedication of engineering students at Virginia Tech. Held for the first time in 2022 at the prestigious German Club Manor, E-Ball brought together over 400 students. E-Ball is a unique opportunity for engineering students to come together and socialize, forging connections that will last throughout their academic careers and beyond. The event embodies the spirit of excellence that is so central to the engineering profession, and honors the tireless efforts of students who strive to achieve their goals and make a difference in the world. Through its festive atmosphere and engaging activities, E-Ball inspires students to continue reaching for the highest levels of achievement, both inside and outside the classroom. We are proud to host this event each year and look forward to seeing the impact it will have on the next generation of engineers.
What can I do to be involved?
The second annual Engineers' Ball attracted more than 800 Engineering student participants in less than 10 minutes. E-Ball has rapidly become an iconic event within the Virginia Tech Engineering community. With the excitement and expectation of 9000+ students in the College of Engineering, we welcome your insight and involvement by being a member of the Engineers' Ball Committee. If you are interested in event planning, serving the community, and having fun, join the listserv and apply for the E-Ball committee.

The 2023-2024 Engineers' Ball Committee consists of Purv Bavishi, Upenya Perera, Sam Abraham, and Temur Sharipov.
