About

The Experience Committee works to cultivate social and professional events for undergraduate engineering students, while building a network with alumni and executive leadership in the College of Engineering. The Experience Committee works to identify, plan, and host engaging events, working with the Outreach Chair to develop events that accurately reflect what students, faculty, and industry partners are interested in.

Experience Committee members are mentored and guided by SEC Executive leadership and are given opportunities to broaden their professional skill sets. Though selective, the Experience Committee has proven continuously the way a student's trajectory successfully changes at the Virginia Tech College of Engineering.

The 2026-2027 Experience Committee consists of Maged Al Qabany, Ines Kapur, and Maddy Diamond.
