Background
Luciana Braga is from Littleton, Colorado, and came to Virginia Tech to pursue her passion for Aerospace and Ocean Engineering, with a particular interest in space systems and space exploration. She currently serves in Mission Operations on InspireFly, where she contributes to the planning and execution of student-led satellite missions. Luciana is also involved with the Seidel Research Group, further developing her experience in structures and multifunctional materials. In addition, she is a Team Captain for Virginia Tech’s Relay for Life and a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Beta Nu chapter of Delta Delta Delta at Virginia Tech. Outside of academics, she enjoys skiing, travelling, music, and spending time with friends & family. She is driven by a desire to explore beyond Earth and contribute to advancements in space technology.
