The Membership Enrichment Chair assists the executive board in engaging members outside of the General Assembly Meetings. They organize social events for the board and engage members within the committees.

Background
Shannon McElhinney is from Cleveland, Ohio, and came to Virginia Tech to further her education and passion for learning while working towards her aerospace engineering degree. Academically, Shannon is a lover of math and physics with high interests in space exploration. She is also a member of the Society of Women Engineers, Team Tennis League, and InspireFly. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and traveling the world.
