Responsibilities
The Director of Relations is responsible for all external communications and branding of the SEC. This includes facilitating relations between the engineering student body, university engineering administration, and industry partners. The DOR also acts as a liaison between the executive board and the engineering student body, informing the community about all SEC opportunities.

Background
Ava is from Manasquan, New Jersey, and came to Virginia Tech to pursue her passion for technology to improve human health. Academically, Ava is interested in biomechanics, medical devices and prosthetics. Ava is currently the Outreach & Marketing Chair of Virginia Tech’s Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Society (UBES), and a member of the Panhellenic Epsilon Chi chapter, Sigma Kappa. Outside of school, Ava finds joy in art, music, skiing, and travelling.
