Responsibilities
The Awards & Scholarships Chair administers all awards as defined by the standing rules of the SEC and facilitates the SEC Scholarship committees. They are also responsible for hosting an awards banquet in the spring semester to recognize award winners.

Background
Anika is from Ellicott City, Maryland, and came to Virginia Tech to pursue her passion for Biomedical Engineering and technology in the medical field. Academically, Anika is interested in medical devices, biomaterials, and has a minor in entrepreneurship. She is currently a part of the VT Honors College, serves on the Class of 2027 Leadership Team, and is a member of the Epsilon Chi chapter of Sigma Kappa. Outside of academics, Anika enjoys music, traveling, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
