About

Each year, the SEC holds several professional development events and opportunities for students in the College of Engineering. In doing this, the SEC brings students the space to grow their skills and knowledge of the professional world. Professional development holds of a variety of events ranging from corporate and faculty presentations and workshops to design team information sessions. If you have a passion for bringing students valuable professional experiences, working with corporate partners, and event planning, join the listserv and apply for the Professional Development Committee.

The 2023-2024 Professional Development Committee consists of Jessica May, Jacob Sahlberg, Tanisi Tripathi, and Varshitha Kodela.

Spring Opportunities Event
Are you looking for a way to get involved in extracurriculars in the Spring Semester but don't know where to start? Come on out Monday, January 30th at 7:00pm in Goodwin 190. Learn all about various organizations looking to recruit you, followed by a complementary reception afterwards with free food and refreshments.
