Lynn Nystrom Fund (LNF)

The Lynn Nystrom Fund is a semi-annual fund in honor of Lynn Nystrom who was the longtime director of news and external relations for the Virginia Tech College of Engineering, an incredible mentor to countless students and alumni, and our own Faculty Advisor Emeritus.

This fund is dedicated to covering all conference and competition-related costs for engineering organizations as well as students. The process consists of an application and interview.

Created with an initial $1,000,000 Endowment to the Lynn Nystrom Fund. The Lynn Nystrom fund gives out $100,000 annually to engineering organizations to support conferences, competitions, and other travel related events.
