Background
Adith is from Ashburn, Virginia, and joined Virginia Tech to follow his dream of being a mechanical engineer. This is Adith’s first year at Virginia Tech, and academically, Adith is interested in automotive systems, with a particular focus on transmission and drivetrain. He is especially curious about how power is transferred efficiently from a regular engine to the wheels from an axle. He is actively involved in research in this area, working on personal projects and competitions based on this area. Along with his involvement in the SEC, Adith is a member of the Galileo Living Learning community for engineering majors. His membership in these communities has been beneficial in terms of enabling him to meet engineering students who have a similar passion towards engineering like him. Other than classes, he likes to listen to and play music, watch movies, play games, and volunteer in his community. Besides, he loves to tinker with cars and understand their workings as an integrated system. In the future, he wants to come up with innovations in vehicle systems.
