Background
Maged is from Cairo, Egypt, and currently lives in the Northern Virginia area. He is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a Machine Learning specialization at Virginia Tech. His interests include large language models, automation, robotics, and optimizing complex systems, and he's especially drawn to the intersection of technology and business. In addition to his role in the SEC, Maged is an undergraduate researcher in the HICE Lab and a member of RoboGrinder, Virginia Tech's competitive ARC robotics team. Outside of academics, he enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and exploring new places with friends.
