Background
Ines Kapur is from Arlington, Virginia, and came to Virginia Tech to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Design. She is a research assistant in the Virginia Tech Advanced Manufacturing & Biosensing Laboratory and the Bio Design Research Group, where she helps develop new materials and improve existing systems. She is also a member of the Beta Nu chapter of Delta Delta Delta, where she serves as Philanthropy Chair. Outside of academics, Ines enjoys being outdoors, traveling, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family.
